Current projects

In 2014 we built a water supply in the central village and in 2015 amalgamated the three schools into one in the same village. We also supported building a hostel in this village to support students coming from the other villages. This was at the suggestion of the village people and the hostel was built on land donated by a local family. The same family supports the students while they are at the hostel and we provide some funding for that support.  This change has the advantage of allowing support for the teachers particularly if one is called away on family business or is ill. It also supports improved teacher training and permits pooling of resources, skills and ideas.
